Blend
>> Nielluccio (40%) comes from Sylvain Ozil – Domaine du Chêne wine estate : originally from Corsica, this varietal is the backbone of wine, highly supple along with an aromatic finesse with soft spiced and white pepper notes..
>> Syrah (Shiraz) (30%) comes from Michaël Bourrassol – Domaine des Luces wine estate : This varietal provides intense red berry notes accompanied by a tannic structure full of finesse.
>> Petit Verdot (25%) comes from Lionel et Nathalie Frizon – domaine Terres d’Hachène wine estate : This varietal with an evocative name is oftentimes, in some amounts, part of the greatest Bordeaux wine blends. This very late harvest grape variety is difficult to pick when ripe and provides considerable acidity to wine. Acidity is essential and sought after for great long ageing wines. In the Cevennes, Petit Verdot ripens more easily and provides considerable colour, tannins and aromas along with acidity. It is therefore very interesting for this blend as it brings both structure and vivacity.
>> Syrah (Shiraz) (5%) also comes from Lionel et Nathalie Frizon – domaine Terres d’Hachène wine estate. Vinified by carbonic maceration. This special winemaking process is used to obtain a different expression of this very aromatic varietal (blackberry and blackcurrant) with fine organoleptic properties.

Quartier Lander :
a name which recalls…

The word quartier (quarter) evokes the notions of conviviality, proximity and belonging, but also of exchange and openness.

Lander refers to the land and vines. It is also the name of the stream that crosses the family property !

The name Quartier Lander goes very well with the profile of the wines produced: blends made up of wines coming from different vinegrower partners in the Cevennes.
